In Barbados, CrossMeridian Foundation has launched a new initiative aimed at bridging the gap between community talent and long-term opportunity. Through our “Grow Local Futures” program, we’ve partnered with local organizations to deliver hands-on training in digital literacy, creative entrepreneurship, and sustainable micro-enterprise development.

What makes this work different is not just the curriculum, it's the ownership. Each session is co-designed with community leaders, educators, and youth advocates to reflect the realities and aspirations of Barbadian life.

One of our pilot programs in Saint Philip has already resulted in 10 new small businesses launched by young entrepreneurs, from digital media services to eco-conscious food delivery. These aren’t just jobs. They’re seeds of independence, resilience, and local pride.

Barbados isn’t just where we work. It’s where we listen, build, and grow, together.
